Observation on The Immune Effect of Some People Immunized with Rabies Vaccine in Fuzhou 2005

[Objective]To understand the immune effect of rabies vaccine.[Methods]The antibodies of 1 407 individuals were detected by ELISA and the results were analyzed with SPSS program.Those people were immunized with rabies vaccine(Vero cell) in Fuzhou CDC after exposure.[Results]A total of 1 407 injured persons were investigated,the antibody was tested after immunization,1 327 of them were positive,the total positive rate was 94.31%,the positive rate in male was 95.03%,in female was 93.50%,there was no difference of the positive rate between male and female.(χ2=1.528,P0.05).The results showed that the positive rate was different between different age groups.There was significant difference of the positive rate in 0-19 、20-59 and 60-93 age groups(χ2=15.457,13.829;P0.01,P0.05).[Conclusion]The rabies vaccine had good immune effect,but the failures should be immunized for booster injection and the antibody was affected by the ages of individuals in some extent.
