Abstract

Objective: To explore the value of transabdominal and transvaginal ultrasonography in diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy. Methods: 172 patients with ectopic pregnancy were examined by transabdominal and transvaginal ultrasonography, and recorded the results of the two methods. Results: The accurate rate of transabdominal ultrasonography in diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy was 68.6%~69.8%. The accurate rate of transvaginal ultrasonography in diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy was 94.8%~100%. Conclusion: Transvaginal ultrasonography in diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy can be more accurate and earlier than transabdominal ultrasonography, and have important significance for clinical.
