Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To establish an HPLC method for content determination of protocatechuic acid in fuxuekang granwles.METHODS:Hypersil C 18 was used as chromatographic column,methanol-water(10∶90)as mobile phase,with a flow rate at1.0ml/min.The column temperature was room temperature,the detection wavelength at256nm and the sample size was20μl.RESULTS:The calibration curve of protocatechuic acid was linear within the range of10.2~306.0μg/ml(r=0.9999).The average recovery was99.6%(RSD=1.7%).CONCLUSION:The established method is accurate,reproducible and applicable for the content determination and quality control of fuxuekang granules.
