Observation of the Curative Effect of Nifedipine Combined with Irbesartan in Diabetes Accompanying Hypertension

Objective To analyze the curative effect of nifedipine combined with irbesartan in diabetes accompanying hypertension. Methods Data(74 cases) were randomly selected from the patients with diabetes accompanying hypertension who received treatment in our hospital from September2013 to September 2014. They were divided into two groups. 37 cases as the control group were given the nifedipine treatment; while the other 37 cases as the research group were given the nifedipine with irbesartan treatment. Then the clinical effect, the blood pressure and the blood sugar improvement in two groups were analyzed. Results The total effective rate of research group was apparently higher than that of control group(P 0.05). Besides, both of the blood pressure and the blood sugar in two groups were improved, but the improvement in the research group was superior to that in the control group(P 0.05). Conclusion Irbesartan combined with nifedipine in diabetes accompanying hypertension has significant effect and it can stabilize the levels of blood pressure and blood sugar.
