Abstract

Objective The study was to observe the alleviation of different suction methods on open-trachea laryngocarcinoma patients.Method 19 patients after trachea opening surgery were randomly divided into two groups: 10 patients were treated with experimental suction method for observation, and 9 patients were treated with conventional suction method as a contrast. The setting amount of suction was 10d.The suction effect, patients’ acceptance and comfort were evaluated then. Results There is no obvious distinctness between two suction methods. But both the acceptance and comfort of the observation group are graded more highly than that of the contrast group. There exists notable difference. Conclusion The experimental suction method can improve the comfort of laryngocarcinoma patients who are taking sputum aspiration in trachea opening.
