Abstract

Objective To study the effects of different suction methods on critically ill patients with artificial airway,to detect the best suction methods.Methods 96 critically ill patients with artificial airway were divided two groups:the expermental group(47cases) and the control group(49cases).The shallow suction method and the routine suction method were applied in the groups,respectively.The patients'heart rate,respiratory tate,blood pressur,SPO2 before suction and 3 min after suction and the injury of tracheal mucosa were compared under dierent suction methods.Results There were no difference in the patients'heart rate,respiratory rate,blood pressur,SPO2 and the injury of tracheal mucosa before suction(P0.05).But there were significant difference in those after 3 min(P0.05).The effects were light in Patients'heart rate,respiratory rate,blood pressur,SPO2 and the injury of tracheal mucosa with shallow suction method compared with routine suction method.Conclusion The shallow suction method is safe and effective suction method with the patients'vital signs relatively stable and the light injury of tracheal mucosa.
