Clinical Observation of Astragalus Mongholicus,Salvia Miltiorrhiza,Leech and Pieplant on Diabetic Nephropathy

Objective: To observe the clinical curative effect of Decoction of leech,pieplant,salvia miltiorrhiza,and Astragalus mongholicus combined with α-keto-acid on chronic renal failure resulted from type 2 diabetes.Methods: 46 cases hospitalized by chronic renal failure resulted from type 2 diabetes were divided into two groups according to personal will.All the cases were treated with the methods of stepping-down-blood-pressure,cutting-down-blood-sugar,improving blood circulation,drop-infusing kidney-essential amino acid intervenously,and giving to α-keto-acid partly.Besides above those the TCM decoction was given to treatment group as well as rectum dislysis with Chinese medicine.Before and after treatment blood-sugar,blood-fat and renal function were determined,and analyzed statistically.Results: The age in treatment group was higher than that in control group(P=0.07),and there was no difference between the groups on blood sugar,insulin concentration and blood-fat.Before treatment serum creatinine and blood uric acid in treatment group were higher than those in control group.After treatment renal functions in the two groups were improved,and the effective rate in treatment group was better than that in control group(P0.05).And the average serum creatinine decreased markedly in treatment group(P0.01).Conclusion: The decoction in our department can improve the clinical effect on chronic renal failure resulted from type 2 diabetes.
