Abstract
Objective:To explore the curative effect and safety of Clozapine and Risperidone in the treatment of refractory schizophrenia.Methods:86 cases of refractory schizophrenia were randomly divided into Clozapine group and Risperidone group, treatment 12 weeks,Postive and negative syndrome scale(PANSS) and treatment emergent side effect scale(TESS) wre used to evaluate efficacy and adverse effects respectively before and at the end of 4,8,12 week of treatment. Results:The effective rate of Clozapine group was 56.00%,the effective rate of Risperidone group was 52.78%,There was significant difference between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion:Clozapine is as effective as Risperidone in the treatment of refractory schizophrenia.Risperidone had less effect than Clozapine, with better efficacy and safety for treating refractory schizophrenia.
