Abstract

[Objective]To understand the individual dose level of external exposure to radiation and distribution of 3 273 radiation workers from Jiangsu Province control units in 2010.[Methods]Taking 3 273 radiation workers' individual dose level of external exposure to radiation in 2010 as study object, according to requirement of Occupational Monitoring Norms of Individual Dose Level of External Exposure, thermoluminescence was adopted to monitor external exposure dose equivalent Hp(10) of radiation workers.[Results] The annual effective dose of 3 273 radiation workers was lower than 5 mSv,and 95% workers' effective dose was lower than 1 mSv,.The annual effective dose of radiation workers was 0.243 mSv.[Conclusion]Radiological protection conditions for radiation workers is good in Jiangsu Province. The protection of medical radiation workers is more worthy of attention.
