Abstract
[Objective]To understand the external radiation dose that radiation workers received,and to correctly evaluate occupational hazard and protection effect,as well as to put forward countermeasures.[Methods]The monitoring was based on Specifications of Individual Monitoring for Occupational Exposure-Individual Monitoring for External Exposure(GB5294-2001).[Results]Totally,2 314 person-times of individual dose monitoring were performed for radiation workers during 2003-2008.The collective annual dose equivalent was 1 710.99 man.mSv,and the average annual dose equivalent was 0.74mSv/a.The person times of annual dose equivalent less than 5 mSv were 2 278,accounting for 98.44%.The average annual dose equivalent presented a trend that declined with years,with the highest among X-radiation workers(decreased as hospital level increased) and the lowest among the workers exposed to sealed source.[Conclusion]The X-radiation hygiene protection for radiation workers,especially in town level hospitals,should be enhanced.
