Abstract
[Objective]To understand the monitoring results of individual dose among some radiation workers in Tianjin City, and propose some advice for improving the radiological protection management.[Methods]Based on requirements of related standards, thermoluminescent dosimetry was adopted to monitor external radiation doses as personal dose equivalent on radiation workers. [Results]The total average personal dose equivalent was 0.355 mSv/a,the average effective dose was 0.370 mSv in medical applications, and 0. 278 mSv in industrial applications. And 98. 2% of the results were below 5 mSv.[Conclusion]The existing radiation protection measures in the surveyed workplaces can control the radiation level effectively in Tianjin. But the management of radiation workers with annual effective dose 5 mSv needs to be further strengthened.
