Clinical effect of liuweianxiao capsule in primary bile reflux gastritis

Objective:To investigate the clinical effect,safety and tolerability of liuweianxiao capsule in primary bile reflux gastritis.Methods:Sixty-two patients with primary bile reflux gastritis were randomly divided into 2 groups.Liuweianxiao capsule 3 three times daily for 4 weeks was given to 32 patients in the medical group,while mosapride citrate 5mg three times daily for 4 weeks to 30 patients in the control group.Dyspepsia symptoms were evaluated during visit before and 4 weeks after treatment.The clinical effect and side effects were compared between 2 groups.Results:After 4 weeks of treatment,the symptoms including stomachache,heartburn,abdominal distention,belching,nausea or vomiting bile in patients with primary bile reflux gastritis in both medical group and control group had been improved.The total effective rate of medical group was 90.62%.The total effective rate of control group was 93.33%.There was no significant difference in the total effective rate after 4 weeks of treatment between 2 groups(P0.05).No serious side effects were found in 2 groups.Conclusion:Liuweianxiao capsule is an effective and safe medicine in the treatment of primary bile reflux gastritis.
