Abstract

For the complex structure of gear and the features of difficulty,heavy workload and low efficiency when modeling directly by Pro/E,gear rapid-design system is researched and developed based on Pro/E platform using secondary development tool Pro/TOOLKIT.By inputting some basic design parameters of the gear by friendly interface,the strict 3D-solid of the gear is automatically generated,thus shortening the period of development and improving the efficiency.
