Abstract
To evaluate protective effects of Pu-erh tea,Tieguanyin and black tea on high-fat diets induced nonalcoholic fatty liver in Wistar rats.Eighty Wistar rats were divided into normal group, hyperlipidemia model group, fermented Pu-erh tea group,Tieguanyin group, low, medium and high dose group of black tea, which were 0.5,1.0,2.0 g / kg,respectively. All rats were sacrificed after 30 days' test feeding, the serum levels of ALT and AST transaminase activity and pathological changes of the liver were determined.Compared with the hyperlipidemia model group, fermented Pu-erh tea,Tieguanyin and black tea groups effectively restrained the increasing weight of the rats. The serum levels of AST in low, medium and high does groups of the fermented Pu-erh tea,low and medium does groups of the Tieguanyin and low does group of Black tea significantly decreased(P 0.05).The serum levels of ALT in low, medium and high does groups of the fermented Pu-erh tea and the low, high dose groups of black tea significantly decreased(P 0.05).Through the specimens of rats and pathological detection,it was found that fermented Pu-erh tea,Tieguanyin and black tea group obviously improved hepatic steatosis caused by high-fat diet.It is concluded that fermented pu-erh tea,Tieguanyin and black tea have different degrees of protection to the non-alcohol fatty liver,in which fermented Pu-erh tea has the most obvious effect.
