Effect analysis of nifedipine combined with irbesartan in the treatment of diabetes mellitus complicated with hypertension

Objective To explore the effect and safety of nifedipine combined with irbesartan in the treatment of diabetes mellitus( T2DM) complicated with hypertension. Methods 102 case of patients with T2DM complicated with hypertension were randomly divided into control group and treatment group,each of 51 cases. The control group was only given foundation treatment of diabetes,while the treatment group was added with nifedipine and irbesartan based on the control group. The effect and adverse reaction incidence of 2 groups were compared and analyzed. Results After treatment,the SBP and DBP of treatment group were all lower than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant( P 0. 05). The effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant( P 0. 05). Conclusion The effect of nifedipine combined with irbesartan is definite in the treatment of diabetes mellitus complicated with hypertension,with lower incidence of adverse reaction,which is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
