Abstract

Metaphor is a natural phenomenon in language.It's also a way of human life being rooted in language thinking and culture.Metaphor is one kind of means to make the abstract idea concretize in vocabulary teaching.It can break the bottleneck of traditional vocabulary learning if started with metaphor,so metaphor can help students study vocabulary better.
