Abstract
With the development of ASIC and computer technology, it has been an urgent demand to accomplish the design of hardware circuit by using HDL in the field of electronic design. This paper introduces a kind of hardware description language, the functional character of VHDL and a new method of designing digital logic circuit and digital system, and further analyzes and discusses the priority of using VHDL in the experiments of electronic design automaticly in term of designing example.
