Application of VHDL Language in the Electronic Design

VHDL,as a new type of hardware description language,is mainly used to describe,stimulate and automatically design digital circuits and systems. Nowdays,it becomes a key technology in electronic design automation( EDA). This paper simply introduces the properties and design process of VHDL. Through the specific example,the application of VHDL in the electronic design is illustrated and the simulation result is obtained. The analysis and discussion of the result is also carried.
