Abstract

Objective:To survey clinical effects of amlodipine besylate tablets, compound DanShen tablets and ginkgo tablets in treating senile patients with hypertension. Methods: Seventy patients were randomized into two groups, 30 cases of the control group took amlodipine besylate tablets only, 40 cases of the treatment group were ad-ministered to amlodipine besylate tablets, compound DanShen tablets and ginkgo tablets. Results:Total effective rate of the treatment group was 92.50%, superior to 60.00%of the control group (P<0.05). Systolic pressure, diastolic pressure and pulse pressure of both groups were decreased after treating (P<0.05), the decrease of the observation group was more notable(P<0.05). Conclusion:Amlodipine besylate tablets, compound DanShen tablets and ginkgo tablets are effective in treating senile patients with hypertension.
