Abstract

Objective To investigate the value of multi-detector spiral CT MPR imagings in the diagnosis of orbital fracture. Methods Axial imaging and multi-direction MPR imagings were performed in 210 cases with orbital fractures. Results Total 210 cases of orbital fractures were found in axial imaging, of which 187 cases were shown directly and clearly, and 22 suspicious cases were detected together with 8 mistaken diagnos's. 88 new cases were detected through multi-detector spiral CT MPR imaging. Conclusion Spiral CT MPR imaging is a valuable method in showing traumatic orbital fractures.
