Hemoperfusion and Hemodialysis in Treatment of Uremic Pruritus:Analysis of 30 Cases

Objective To explore the efficacy of hemoperfusion and hemodialysis in treatment and nursing of uremic pruritus in maintenance hemodialysis patients. Methods 30 cases of patients were treated with hemoperfusion and hemodialysis to observe the changes of calci-um,phosphorus,micro-globulin,parathyroid hormone and skin pruritus remission before and after treatment. Results Hemoperfusion and hemodialysis patients had the pruritus remission rate of 64%,with phosphorus,micro-globulin,parathyroid hormone decreasing significantly after treatment. Conclusions Hemodialysis and hemoperfusion can effectively improve the maintenance hemodialysis patients with pruritus symptoms,and their quality of life.
