Abstract

Objective To discussion the causes and strategy about pseudothrombocytopenia by Mindray BC-3000plus (BC-3000) blood cell analyzer of platelet count. Method 157 cases of the number of samples with PLT histogram does not match the method and apparatus for a manual comparison of the results of platelet count and platelet of 337 cases of abnormal specimens, review the results of statistical analysis. Result Histogram distribution of the normal platelet normal group, BC-3000 test results with microscope counting was no signif icant difference (P0.05); platelet histogram distribution of the major platelet abnormalities group, platelet aggregation group, small group of red blood cells and red blood cell debris interference interference group BC-3000 test results with microscope counts are statistically significant differences (P0.01). Conclusion The impact of blood cell analyzer PLT many factors, only the correct operation, to remove all obstacles and take the necessary measures to review to ensure that the results of PLT count accurate and reliable.
