Abstract

Objective:To understand the accuracy of the optical platelet count with XE-2100 hematology analyzer prompted to open RET-CH and the platelet count the results of suspicious samples to guide applications in different disease.Methods: Collect apparatus prompted to open RET-CH and the platelet count of suspicious specimens 225 cases,the impedance method (PLT-I),the optical method(PLT-O),microscopic(PLT-M) platelet count,and at the same time push the system stained blood film examination,observation of small red blood cells,red blood cell debris,large platelets,platelet aggregation,will be a small red blood cells and / or red blood cell debris,large platelets,platelet aggregation in samples divided into 3 groups according to clinical diagnosis of the remaining samples are divided into 5 group.Results: Microscopic examination found a small red blood cells and / or red blood cell fragments in 38 cases,15 cases of large platelets,platelet aggregation 5 cases,In a small red blood cells and / or red blood cell debris group,liver cirrhosis group,leukemia group,lymphoma group,Large platelet groups,Post-operative Group,platelet count optical method and reference method-microscopic correlation better,cancer Disease group PLT-I and PLT-O with the PLT-M is similar to the correlation. Conclusion: XE-2100 optical method of platelet count in a small red blood cell group,hepatitis,liver cirrhosis group,leukemia group,lymphoma group,Large platelet groups,Post-operative Group of the advantages of good,in the cancer group,no difference;so,when the apparatus prompted to open RET-CH and the platelet count suspicious should be carried out platelet count with optical method to ensure accurate results.
