Abstract
Objective:To investigate the association and interrelationship between lead poisoning and anemia, then study the effect of lead on children hematopoietic system. Methods: 540 children were enrolled and divided into two groups: non-lead poisoning (BPb100 μg/L) and lead poisoning (BPb100 μg/L), anderythrocyte (RBC), hemoglobin (HGB), mean corpuscular volume (MCV), mean corpuscular hemoglobin(MCH),mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration(MCHC) were assayed. Results:There was no significant difference of RBC, HGB, MCV, MCH, MCHC between this two groups (P0.05). Conclusion:The incidence of anemia did not increased in children with lead poisoning in low level.
