Abstract
Objective To evaluate the curative effect of GM-1 injection on acute cerebral infarction. Methods Total 152 patients with acute cerebral infarction were randomly divided into two group:the treatment group and control group. The treatment group were treated with GM-1 (40 mg per day for 21 days) and the control group were treated with citicoline (0.75 per day for 21 day). Results There was significant difference in the total effective rate between the treatment group(84.2%) and the control group(65.6%)(P0.05). Conclusion The patients with acute cerebral infarction during the early period should be treated with GM-1,which will speed the recovery of neurological function and improve the quality of life.
