Abstract

Objective To evaluate the effect and safety of defibrinogen in treatment of acute cerebral infarction. Methods one hundred and fourteen patients with acute cerebral infarction were randomly divided into study group (group S n=57) or control group (group C n=57), patients with both group received citicolin, aspirin, vitamin B6, nimodipine. Batroxobin injection were given to Group S every other day until the fibrinogen reduced to 0.9-1.5g/L. Xueshuantong were given to group C. Fibrinogen and blood viscosity were measured before and after treatment. The effect was evaluated by neurological function defcit scale score for all patients. Results the level of fibrinogen and blood viscosity decreased and nervous function discovered obviously after treatment (94.7% vs 77.2% P0.01). Conclusions defibrinogen in treatment of acute cerebral infarction is safe and effective.
