Supervision Mechanism for Food Safety:Problem and Solution

A supervision system for food safety increasingly reflects people's life quality,governmental capability of management and the degree of perfection of system.But problems exist in food safety supervision in China,such as departments in charge of supervision for food safety failing to distinguish between rights and liabilities,supervision standards for food safety lagging behind severely,the legal system for food safety supervision being imperfect,local governments being unable to provide sufficient funds for food safety supervision,the circulation domain of food lacking of effective supervision,there being a shortage of technological standard system for food safety,etc.Therefore,to accelerate the improvement of the national food safety supervision system and seize initiatives of food safety the state should strengthen food safety supervision,try to create a beneficiary social environment to food safety supervision,gradually improve the existing legal system of food safety,scientifically disclose related information to food safety risk,financially increase governmental input of food safety supervision,and strengthen the construction of law enforcement contingent.
