Clinical Observation of Montelukast Sodium in the Treatment of Childhood Asthma

Objective To observe the effect of montelukast sodium tablets combined corticosteroid inhalation in the treatment of childhood asthma.Methods 78 patients with asthma were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group,the treatment group were treated by montelukast sodium tablets on the basis of treatment in the control group,observe control time of clinical symptom and recurrence rate.Results Control time of clinical symptom of the treatment group was(5.41±0.95)days,and the control group was(7.35±0.75)days,the difference was statietically significant(P0.05).At the same time,the recurrence rate was significantly lower than that of the control group.Conclusion The treatment of montelukast sodium tablets combined with inhaled corticosteroids for childhood asthma can significantly impove the treatment effect and reduce the recurrence rate of asthma.
