Theory Practice of Task-based Teaching Method in the Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language

Abstract

Though it is still at a stage of theoretical justification and has only been carried out for a few years,the task-based language teaching has wide implementation in China.This paper tries to explore its origin and development and to discuss its difficulties in practice.Combined with the current situation of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,this paper,based on the analysis and evaluation of this kind of teaching method,discusses the issue that how to apply the task-based language teaching theory and the practice of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
