Abstract
Cellulose tris(3,5-dimethylphenylcarbamate)(CDMPC) was synthesized.Elemental analysis and IR spectrum indicated that most of the hydroxy groups of the microcrystallin cellulose had been converted into ester groups. The silanized gel was coated with CDMPC by using tetrahydrofuran as solvent. The enantiomeric resolution of racemates on high performance liquid chromatography. When βcyclodextrin(β-CD),dimethyl β-cyclodextrin(DM-β-CD) and trimethyl βcyclodextrin(TM-β-CD) were used as mobile phase additives,Column CDMPC for separation of racemates possessed a new synergistic effect-two-phase synergistic effects. From the principle of supramolecular chemistry,we assume that the effect based on the supramolecular action of chiral stationary phase and chiral mobile phase additive.
