Study of the effect of Danshen injection on type I collagen and TGF-β_1 in rats with chronic salpingitis

Objective It is to observe the effect of Danshen injection on type I collagen and TGF- β1in the rats with chronic salpingitis,and to discuss its mechanism. Methods SPF level female SD rats were selected in which 10 rats were randomly chosen as as the normal group,and the others were prepared for the chronic salpingitis model by phenol glue method,and then randomly divided into model group,western medicine group,high dose of Danshen injection group and middle dose of Danshen injection group. In eight days after model establish,the rats were given drugs by intragastric administration once a day and for 21 days. On the 22 day,oviduct tissue of the rats were gotten after anesthesia by intraperitoneal injection to detect the expressions of TGF- β1and I collagen by immunohistochemical determination. Results The yellow stained particles in the oviduct tissue cytoplasm and stromal cells were found,and the quantity was the most in the model group,more in the western medicine group,much less in Danshen injection groups,but the effects were more better in high dose of Danshen injection group than that in middle dose of Danshen injection group. Conclusion Danshen injection can reduce the abnormal expressions of TGF- β1and I collagen,has anti-tissue adhesions and fibrosis effects,thus it has good clinical efficacy on tubal obstruction infertility.
