The Government Governance Under the Aim to Build a Harmonious Society

The basic trend of current government governance reform is from ruling to governance and from good politics to good governance.The pursuit of a harmonious society and good governance is always the fundamental aim and value for China's government reform.The several rounds of reform of government institutions since the 1980s have always been aimed at simplifying the administrative structure,enhancing work efficiency and benefiting the masses.However,because of excessive dependence on the pattern of subject substitution,contradiction arises between means and end,thus resulting in some disharmonious phenomena in government governance.In order to build a harmonious society,it is necessary to establish the idea of multi-centers governance,pay more attention to the balance of the administrative structure,perfect the citizen participation system and improve the self-governance ability of society.
