Mechanism of Hericium particles on treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis

Abstract

Objective To observe the curative effect of Hericium particle extract on rats with chronic atrophic gastritis.Method 120 SD rats were divided into 5 groups,including normal control group,model control group,Victoria enzyme treated group,low-dose group and high-dose group.The rats were made the model of chronic atrophic gastritis with hot oral saline method except the normal control group.The model was treated with Hericium particles for 28 days.Biopsy,Gastric-hexose and prostaglandin E2(PGE2) were observed.Result The rats in the Hericium particles groups have a larger number of G,D cells and a higher content of Gastric-hexose and prostaglandin E2(PGE2) than those in the normal control group,especially the ones in the high-dose group of Hericium particles.Conclusion Hericium particles play a significant role in the treatment of rats with chronic atrophic gastritis.
