Abstract
This article analyzes the reasons why university graduates have difficulty in obtaining employment under the circumstance of popularization of higher education, and points out that graduates' perspective about employment doesn't fit in with the requirements of the new situation; that employers overemphasize the value of diploma; and that graduates themselves are not competitive enough. In view of this situation, the article puts forward some counter-measures in the hope of achieving the goal that all the university graduates obtain employment, for example the institution of higher education should stick to ideal education to help university graduates set up correct vocational ideal; university graduates should change their perspective about employment and the government should bring into full play its function in university graduates.
