Effect observation of enalapril combined with nifedipine in treatment of essential hypertension

Objective To discuss the effect of enalapril combined with nifedipine in treatment of essential hypertension.Methods 106 cases patients with essential hypertension were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,each of 53 cases.Treatment group were treated with enalapril capsules 5mg orally,2 times a day;Nifedipine 10mg orally,3 times a day.Control group were received enalapril with the same method as treatment group.Both groups were treated for 21d as a continuous course of treatment.Observed clinical efficacy and blood pressure change of two groups.Results The total effective rate of treatment group(94.3%) was higher than that of control group(83.0%) ,the difference was statistically significant(P0.05) .After treatment,systolic and diastolic blood pressure of twogroups were lower than those before treatment,the difference were statistically significant(P0.05) ;After treatment,blood pressure of treatment group was lower than that of control group,the difference was statistically significant(P0.05) .Conclusion Enalapril combined with nifedipine in treatment of essential hypertension has a good synergistic effect,can effectively control blood pressure level.
