Abstract

Objective To observe the efficacy of edaravone as adjutant treatment for acute cerebral infarction. Methods 60 patients with acute cerebral infarction were randomly divided into treatment group(30 cases)and control group(30 cases). The treatment group was given edaravone at a dose of 30 mg,in vein twice a day,for 10~14 days other theres were similar to control group. The clinical effect was evaluated two weeks later. Results The significant efficency 66.7%,the total efficency 90% in treatment group was superior than in control group(40%,63.3%)(P0.01);The difference of Nerve function defect score between the two groups was significant(P0.01).Conclusion Edaravone was an effective methods in treatment of acute cerebral infarction,no obvious adverse reaction.
