Effect of antisperm antibody of seminal plasma on sperm morphology and motion parameters

Abstract
Objective:To study effect of AsAb of seminal plasma on sperm morphology and motion parameters.Methods:Sperm samples were obtained from 251 patients of male infertility. AsAb was detected by indirectly improved ELISA method. The sperm morphology and motion parameters analysis using semiautomatic sperm morphology analyzer was performed.Results:AsAb positive rate was 17.13% in 251 semen samples of patients. The percentage of normal morphology sperm of AsAb positive group was no statistics difference in comparison with AsAb negative group (P0.05).But the percentages of large head sperm and tapered head sperm were markedly higher than that of AsAb negative group (P0.05,P0.005).The percentage of grade a+b sperm, MAD, LIN, WOB of sperm motion parameters were markedly lower than that of AsAb negative group (P0.05).Conclusion:AsAb of seminal plasma don't influence the percentage of normal morphology sperm. But it can make the percentage of grade a+b sperm, MAD, LIN and WOB of sperm motion parameters descended.
