Relationship between Evaluation on Semen and Anti-sperm Antibody of Serum in Infertile Men

Objective To explore the relationship between the result of routine semen detection and anti-sperm antibody(AsAb) of serum in the infertile men.Methods 194 cases of infertility were selected and the semen item which include sperm density,sperm motility,percentage of sperm motility,pH,WBC in semen,liquefaction time and quantity of semen were tested by routine laboratory methods and the AsAb in serum were detected by radioimmunoassay.Results The rang of positive rate of AsAb were 77.8% to 10%,11.5% to 80% and 15.9 to 77.8% when the sperm density,percentage of sperm motility and activity rate of sperm were 20×109 /L to 100×109 /L,80% to 10% and C to A respectively.The number of WBC in semen directly related to the positive rate of AsAb,while the liquefaction time and quantity of semen and pH did not.Conclusions The influence of AsAb positive rate in serum on the sperm density,the sperm motility,the percentage of sperm motility was distinctly.The evaluation of serum AsAb is of higher clinical value in the diagnosis of infertility.
