Curative effect of nifedipine combined with ibesartan in treatment of diabetes mellitus combined with hypertension

Objective To observe the preliminary curative effect and safety of nifedipine combined with ibesartan in treatment of diabetes mellitus combined with hypertension.Methods Sixty patients of type 2 diabetes mellitus with hypertension were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.Two groups were given the basic therapy of type 2 diabetes mellitus at the same time,but the treatment group given nifedipine tablets which was taken three times a day and irbesartan tablets which was taken once a day was observed the change of blood pressure before and after treatment and recorded if there were adverse reactions.Results The effective rate was 90% in treatment group and 60% in control group,the treatment group′s effect is much better than control group's(P0.05),and drug adverse reactions was less.Conclusion The curative effect of nifedipine combined with irbesartan in treatment of diabetes mellitus combined with hypertension was affirmed.
