THE CURATIVE EFFECTS OF MILRINONE ON SENILE REFRATORY HEART FAILURE

Objective To explore the curative effects of milrinone on senile refratory heart failure(SRHF) and its effects on the concentration of brain natriuretil peptide(BNP) in Type B blood.Methods 118 cases of SRHF were randomly divided the treatment group and the contrast group.The 60 cases in the treatment group were treated with milrinone [first dose of 50μg/(kg·min)] first for 10 minutes and then with milrinone [0.5μg/(kg·min)] 4 hours,once a day,7 days as a course in addition to routine treatment.The contrast group was given routine treatment.The left ventricular ejection fraltion(LVEF) and the left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD) and the concentration of BNP were examined before and after treatment.Results The total effective rates in the treatment group and the contrast group were 95% and 60.34% respectively(χ2=20.62,P0.01).There existed significant differences in LVEF and LVEDD before and after treatment in both groups(P=10.46,4.61;P0.01).There existed significant differences in BNP between the two groups after treatment(t=20.83;P0.01).Conclusion Milrinone can be used as adjurant to treat seinile refractory heart disease effective and safely.
