Li Zhi,as a "Sage of Emotions"

As a unique liberalist thinker in Ancient China,Li Zhi can also be termed a peerless advocate of the doctrine of the unique importance of emotions in Chinese history.Such a doctrine that only the emotion should be taken into account is not only expressed in his profound criticism on the power and influence society in which,according to Li Zhi,the human feelings were ruined and which was full of interflows based on the market rules,and manifested in his paramount esteem and the indomitable pursuit for the sincere friendship,and sexual love of the human beings,but also is in the fact that Li Zhi′s recognition of the emotion rose to the height of the main body doctrine,which represented the fundamental correction of the orientation to the philosophy of the unique importance of idealism of the Confucian school of idealist philosophy of the Song and Ming dynasties and thoroughly returned to the tradition of the Chinese ancient doctrine of the unique importance of emotions.As uniquely shown by Li Zhi to us,the tradition of the doctrine of the unique importance of emotions stems from the Body Philosophy established in Book of Changes of the Zhou Dynasty and exists in the state of the Body Philosophy and the life in the body philosophy is made possible in the yin-yang lingering and emotion induced by feelings.
