Abstract

The acceptance of Li Zhi's thoughts is an important branch in the evolution of Chinese literary thoughts and Zhou Zuo-ren's literary thoughts is a typical case in this evolution.This paper analyzes Zhou Zuo-ren's acceptance and mutations of Li Zhi's literary thoughts,explores the traces of acceptance and concludes that Zhou Zuo-ren's literary views come from the Western learning and China's tradition.Li Zhi's influence on him is so great that Zhou has his own view ofhuman literature.Li Zhi's childish mindmakes Zhou think that literature is a representation of human nature.Zhou Zuo-ren finds the modernity of Li Zhi's thoughts.
