Abstract
The growth and development indexes of F1 of Dorset with smifine-wool hybrid sheep were determined at the birth, the age of four months and six months under grazing condition. The results showed that the birth weight, the weight at the age of four months and the weight at the age of six months of F1 lamb were 4.01,21.75 and 27.24kg,which increased 0.69,3.57 and 4.22kg than that of native sheep,respestively(P0.01),The withers height, body length, chest girth, chest width, cannon circumference and thurl width of F1 were better than those of contemporary native sheep(P0.01).
