Innovation and Development of the System of Teacher Education

The system of teacher education is a system of organization and management based on certain principles for the purpose of teacher education.The innovation of the system of teacher education in China should cover the following three points.First,we must try to set up an independent system of teacher education with different levels and types of institutions to develop teachers of advanced levels for secondary and primary schools.Second,we must actively explore various modes of training teachers for specific and nonspecific work units.Third,we must further perfect systems of teacher education to ensure its quality.For teacher education in the future,we must properly handle the relationship between academy and pedagogy,straighten out relations with educational institutions of different levels and types to make the best use of educational resources,set up a scientific and effective system of teacher certificate to improve the total quality of teaching staff.
