Abstract

Objective To observe the curative effect of Suhuangzhike capsule combined with symbicort turbuhaler( budesonide and formoterol fumarate powder) in the treatment of cough variant asthma( CVA). Methods80 patients with cough variant asthma were randomly divided into two groups. The group A was given budesonide and formoterol fumarate powder for inhalation( 1 suction per time,2 times per day),and the group B was given Suhuangzhike capsule( 3 capsules each time,3 times per day) combined with budesonide and formoterol fumarate powder for inhalation( 1 suction per time,2 times per day). The symptoms of cough and pulmonary function were observed 1week and 1 month after the treatment. Results After the treatment, the improvement of pulmonary function was more pronounced in the group B than in the group A( P 0. 05). Conclusion Suhuangzhike capsule combined with budesonide and formoterol fumarate powder for inhalation has better curative effect in the treatment of cough variant asthma.
