Abstract
Objective To explore the curative effect of integrated traditional and western medicine for the treatment of peptic ulcer(PU). Methods Sixty-five patients with PU were divided into two groups. 31 patients in the control group received the western medicine triple therapy, and 34 patients in the research group received the traditional Chinese medicine Jianwei decoction therapy and western medicine triple therapy. The curative effects of two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of research group was 97.06%,significantly higher than 74.19% of control group(P 0.05). No adverse reaction was found in both groups. Conclusions Integrated traditional and western medicine for the treatment of peptic ulcer(PU) has significant effect, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
