Abstract

Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect and safety of low molecular heparin in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction. Methods 124 patients with acute cerebral infarction were divided into two groups randomly, 64 for treatment group, 60 for control group. The control group was treated with conventional therapy. the treatment group was treated with low molecular heparin 0.4 ml, twice daily subcutaneously for two weeks. The blood platelet, prothrombin time (PT) , activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT), bleeding episodes were observed. Results The neurologic impairment score in the treatment group was decreased evidently, the effective rate was 89%,there were significant differences between the two groups (P0.05). There were no significant differences in blood platelet, PT, APTT, bleeding episodes in two groups after treatment(P 0.05). Conclusion Low molecular heparin is effective and safety in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction.
