Clinic effect of Live Preparation of Lactobacillus in preventing vaginitis recurrence

Abstract

Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of Live Preparation of Lactobacillus in preventing vaginitis recurrence.Method 686 outpatients with vaginitis(bacterial vaginosis,colpomycosis and trichomonas vaginitis) from October 2010 to June 2011 were randomly divided into 2 groups.The observation group was given routine drugs followed by Live Preparation of Lactobacillus;the control group was given routine drugs only.Result There was significantly difference in relapse rate between two groups(P﹤0.01).Conclusion Live Preparation of Lactobacillus can regulate the vaginal flora percentage,maintain the acid-base balance of vagina,and thus effectively reduce the recurrence of vaginitis.
