Abstract
Objective To discuss the therapeutic effect of live Lactobacillus preparation on patients with senile vaginitis.Methods Ninety patients with confirmed senile vagnitis were randomly divided into 3 groups: the metronidazole group,the metronidazole combined with premarin ointment group and the live Lactobacillus preparation group.Results Results showed that the effective rate of the live Lactobacillus preparation group was 90.0%,the effective rate of the metronidazole group was 73.3% and that of the metronidazole combined with premarin ointment group was 83.3%.Significant differences could be noted between the groups(P 0.05).Conclusion Live Lactobacillus preparation could produce significant effect on senile vaginitis.
