Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of viable Preparation of Lactobacillus in preventing bacterial vaginosis recurrence. Methods 140 outpatients with bacterial vaginosis from October 2011 to May 2012 were randomly divided into 2 groups. The observation group was given routine drugs followed by viable Preparation of Lactobacillus through vaginal irrigation, one tablet per day for ten days;the control group was given routine drugs only. Results There was a significant difference in the relapse rate between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion Viable Preparation of Lactobacillus can improve and reconstruct the vaginal microecological balance, and thus effectively reduce the recurrence of bacterial vaginosis.
